What Happens Now
Evidence base:
Legal requirements say that the Neighbourhood Development Plan must be based on clear and up-to-date evidence that explains and justifies its policies, and shows how they will help achieve sustainable development. The evidence should match the scope of the plan, using existing information about the local area and any new research on local issues. It should include facts, figures, community feedback, and technical studies. The evidence should be easy to find and understand, and strong enough to stand up to checks during the Plan’s examination.
