Christmas market

With stalls from Hovingham Market and our own local businesses, the Christmas market in the village hall went well, and many stallholders said they would certainly come again if we had an occasional market here.

One stallholder, despite being sent a map, managed to end up in Redcar, but still made it back in time to have a good day's trading! From refreshments and stall fees, we made a surplus of £200 for the village hall fund.

Thanks to Mary Hill and Gill Allanson for helping with the refreshments, and to everyone who helped with the planning and setting up of the market.
