Dawn Chorus Walk on Sunday 29th April

What kind of early riser is this......?

To find out....Come and join local naturalist, Keith Gittens, on a walk around the outskirts of Husthwaite village on Sunday 29th April.
"Birds are in peak song late April/May and the walk is an opportunity to hear and learn how to distinguish the various songs and calls of the resident birds plus any summer migrants that frequent the village and surrounding farmland and woodland. In total I expect to see or hear 35 - 40 species." Keith Gittens
Attendees should wear suitable clothing as it can be chilly at that time of the morning also strong footwear is advised as conditions may be muddy. The pace will be set at a gentle amble. Please bring binoculars and a bird book if possible. The route will follow public footpaths but there will be some short stretches of road. No dogs please as they may disturb the birds.
