Yoga is a great way to stretch tone and strengthen your body, clear the clutter from your mind and increase your sense of well-being. Classes include postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama) and relaxation. I hope that you enjoy the classes and will leave feeling refreshed and more balanced.
Yoga is non-competitive and can be practiced by everyone whatever their age, gender or fitness level. I will encourage you to practice within your limitations. All practices are taught in a progressive way, so you're welcome to stay at level appropriate for you. Be kind to yourself and listen to your body.
Wear loose comfortable clothing - layers are a good idea as you may warm up during postures and then cool down during relaxation. Yoga is done in bare feet and bring a yoga mat (if possible), a blanket is also useful to cover yourself with during relaxation.
Subsequent classes £7.00 drop-in, £36 for a block of six consecutive sessions.
