Husthwaite Autumn Market

news

Husthwaite welcomed almost 350 visitors to its autumn market. An amazing turn out given it's only the third market to take place in our new village hall!

As usual, we enjoyed a bustling but relaxed, friendly atmosphere and a lovely day, if a little overcast. We saw the return of some old favourites with Olivia's artisan bread proving popular as usual and Jackie bringing along her alpacas, which had plenty to say about her selling their wool and super soft products!

Making their first appearance at the market were Vida Villi and their very tasty Gluten Free soups, handing out free samples made for a tasty visit for everyone. Also new to Husthwaite was Kardamakis and his olive oils which also went down a treat! Along with Ryedale Cheese, Bentley of York chocolates, local Easingwold honey and Derwent Preserves you can definitely fill up your larder. With Orchards Cider you can also fill up your cellar!

Those looking for gifts or simply to treat themselves were also catered for with a range of jewellery, beauty lotions, arts and crafts stalls, home wares with cards rounding off a very broad range of products.

As usual, The Apple Tree Cafe took centre stage offering a whole host of goodies to feed the hungry shoppers. A big thank you to everyone who gave their time to help out. Also, a thank you to those who came along for a look around. It was lovely to see so many locals!

Hopefully we will see you again, with all your favourite stalls and a few new ones along with a festive offering at the Christmas market on Sunday 30th November at the village hall.
