TUESDAY 11th NOVEMBER, in the Methodist Chapel, from 9.30a.m. Some of you have already
been knitting and shopping in readiness, but in case you are just about to start, here is the
comprehensive list of gifts we are able to send:
All gifts should be new.

ropes, balls, small puzzles.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES - pens, pencils, sharpeners, crayons, felt pens, stamps and ink pad
sets, writing pads or notebooks and paper, solar calculators, colouring and picture books.

OTHER ITEMS - hat, cap, gloves, scarf, sunglasses, hair accessories, jewellery set, wind up
torch, wrapped sweets ( sell by date must be at least March of the following year).

items, liquids or lotions, anything of a political, racial or religious nature, marbles or any glass
items, clothing other than that listed above.

We need to send £3 per box to cover shipping and distribution costs, so if you can provide this
or part of this, donations will be very welcome.

If you haven't been involved in this venture before, do come along and help the 'regulars'. It's
always a happy, busy morning and then the helpers take the boxes to the drop-off point before
relaxing over lunch at the Thirsk Garden Centre.

We look forward to another good year, sharing what we have with those whose box will be the
only Christmas present they receive.
