The ongoing struggle of Israelis and Palestinians to live side by side in the land sacred to both is one of the greatest tragedies of our time. In just 7 days we toured schools in East Jerusalem, repossessed houses, the Wall (all 800 kms of it), refugee camps, churches, mosques, synagogues, Bethlehem, Hebron, Ramallah, Nablus, Jericho, the Dead Sea, Neve Shalom Oasis of Peace and lots more. We met wonderful people- rabbis, imams, priests and scholars. And nothing impressed more than the resilience and humanity of those people. Our conclusions may seem at odds with what politicians suggest - there is only one solution and that is a one state solution. I hope that you can come to see why.
