Husthwaite & District Gardening Club
Celebrates its 50 anniversary in 2009
The club meets on the second Thursday each month from September to April at 7.30 p.m. in Husthwaite Village Hall, with a speaker. Usually one of the meetings is an in-house affair and occasionally the topic is only very loosely to do with gardening. In the summer there are usually three garden visits, one of which is to a member’s garden. There is a plant sale in April.
The subscription is only £5 p.a. and this can usually be saved by the generous discount available to members at the Castle Howard Plant Centre.
Non-members are invited to attend meetings for a small payment, and/or to join the garden visits at cost.
Summer visits to Kelberdale on 21.5.09 and Low Askew on 9.7.09
50 anniversary celebration at Shandy Hall on 18.6.09
